The Formazza Adventure station is a small district suited for families. It has a chairlift with black track for more expert skiers, a surface lift and a magic carpet for beginners who want to gradually learn to ski, and a snowpark to help children learn to ski safely. The chairlift allows skiers to climb to Valle del Vannino for off-track skiing and snowshoe walks in a pristine mountain environment.
There is also a track for bobsleds and sleighs. The district has large free parking lots.

The Formazza Adventure station can be reached by following the motorway A26 to Gravellona Toce and then the SS33 Sempione Road to the interchange for Valli Antigorio e Formazza, and then continuing on to the frazione of Valdo. Distance from Milan: 120 km Distance from Turin: 180 km
